What this policy covers

This policy covers two things run by the same person: this website, heyysami.bond, the personal portfolio of Mohammed Sami, and the Fluctuate Studio Facebook Page, including messages sent to that Page through Messenger. Fluctuate Studio is a small web design studio based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This page explains what information is collected in each place, why, and what you can do about it.

The short version: the website has no user accounts, no payments and no mailing list. Nothing you share with us, here or on Facebook, is ever sold or rented to anyone.

Information from the contact form

If you use the contact form on this website, you provide your name, your email address and your message. The form is delivered by a service called FormSubmit, which passes your submission to our email inbox at hello@heyysami.bond so we can read it and reply. Please do not send passwords, financial details or anything sensitive through the form; it is meant for project enquiries.

Information from Facebook and Messenger

If you message or interact with the Fluctuate Studio Facebook Page, for example by sending a Messenger message, reacting to a post or commenting, we can see the information attached to that interaction, such as your name, your profile picture and the content of your message. That information is provided and processed by Meta under Meta's own privacy policy and platform terms; Facebook's tools, not this website, control how it is stored on their side. We read and keep Page conversations so we can answer questions, discuss projects and provide our services.

Information collected automatically

The website is hosted on Vercel. Like every web host, Vercel automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested, such as an IP address, browser type, the page requested and a timestamp. These logs exist to deliver the site and keep it secure.

The site also uses Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit and how fast pages load. These tools are privacy-respecting: they do not use tracking cookies and do not follow you across other websites. The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch the font files, and Google can see the technical details of that request, such as your IP address.

How your information is used

Information you share is used only to respond to you, to discuss and provide the services you asked about, and to keep this website running well. It is never sold, never rented and never added to any marketing list. If you email us directly at hello@heyysami.bond, your message stays in that mailbox so we can read it and reply.

Third parties

A small number of services help run things, and each handles information under its own privacy policy: Vercel (website hosting, analytics and speed insights), FormSubmit (contact form delivery), Google Fonts (typefaces), and Meta / Facebook (the Fluctuate Studio Page and Messenger). Some pages also link out to WhatsApp, GitHub and client websites. Once you follow one of those links, that service's privacy policy applies, not this one.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies of its own. Third-party services named above may use their own cookies under their own policies, for example Meta's cookies when you use Facebook or Messenger. If this site ever starts setting cookies of its own, this page will say so clearly.

Retention and deletion

Form submissions, emails and project conversations are kept for as long as they are needed to respond and to keep reasonable records of work discussed or done. You can ask us to delete your messages and information at any time, and we will do so within a reasonable time, except where keeping a record is required for an ongoing project. Messages you sent through Messenger can also be deleted by you from your own Facebook account.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what personal information of yours we hold, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@heyysami.bond and we will respond and act on your request within a reasonable time.

Children's privacy

This website and Fluctuate Studio's services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a fresh date at the top. Quiet edits in the background are not how this works.
